Pymant Boss
June 5, 2026 at 12:45 PM
Boss guide for Pymant covering its location in the Fatal Encounter quest, its level 14 and Chakra typing, its Slicing Wind and Blaze moves, recommended counter Animon, and turn-by-turn strategy.
Pymant is a rare Chakra Type Animon and one of the early story bosses in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. You face it during the Fatal Encounter main quest, at the town center of Iris Hamlet after you return through Scarlet Woods. Pymant is fought at Level 14 and can act twice in a single turn, which makes it dangerous if your team is underleveled.

Known Moves |
Pymant is weak to Water, Electric, Demon, and Geo attacks, so Animon that hit those types are the strongest picks. Mollupom and Deniuli are both recommended for the team.
Recommended Animon | Role |
|---|---|
Geo and Water coverage against Pymant's weaknesses | |
Demon and Fire coverage, resists some of Pymant's attacks | |
High stats to fill out the team |
For your starter, you can bring either Ozelash or Queccha. Vortail also works well if it has already learned Water skills. See the Best Starter guide for more on these picks.
Owaxle and Toxigall are both weak to Aura attacks, but because of their naturally higher stats they are not the worst picks when you simply need to fill out a team. Flowende and Almyuna are not recommended at all, since both are weak to Pymant's attacks and Pymant resists most of what they deal back.
Stat Points are earned each time an Animon levels up, and the game does not assign them for you. Before fighting Pymant, distribute those points into HP, Attack, or Defence so your team can survive its double turns. See How to Increase Stats for details.
Pymant can act twice within a single turn, so bring a team at its level (14) or higher. This gives you a better chance of moving first in the turn order and gives your Animon enough Defence to tank its hits.
Hit Pymant with Water Type, Electric Type, Demon Type, and Geo Type attacks. Super effective hits deal more damage and build TP faster for your own team, which lets you trigger an extra action per turn with a TP Action.
Pymant's two known moves, Slicing Wind and Blaze, deal Aura Type and Fire Type damage. Bring Animon that resist Aura and Fire so Pymant struggles to build up TP of its own. Pymant only needs 2 TP to trigger a TP Action (an extra move), so denying it that buildup is the key to a clean fight.
