Fountain

Created the Fountain page covering rest point functions, time-of-day selection, per-character crafting rates, and the furniture-item disambiguation
The Fountain is the rest point of LumenTale: Memories of Trey. You find them out in the world and inside your Anispace, and stopping at one is the practical hinge of an expedition: you heal the party, craft items, cook food, and set the time of day before heading out again. Planning a route around the next Fountain matters as much as planning around the next dungeon.
Action | Detail |
|---|---|
Heal | Restores the party between expeditions. |
Craft | Turns gathered materials into consumables and gear, including Bilia variants. |
Cook | Prepares food from ingredients collected out in the world. |
Set the time of day | Resting lets you choose what time of day to set out again. |
Travel across Talea consumes time, and night falls on its own. That matters, because certain Animon and certain hidden paths only appear after dark, and some evolutions have a time-of-day requirement. Resting at a Fountain is the shortcut back: pick the time you want and set out again, rather than waiting the cycle out. See Monster Taming and Bonding for the evolution requirements that depend on it.
Crafting and cooking are handled by whichever party member you switch to, and each is better at a different job. Using the wrong one wastes ingredients on failed attempts.
Character | Best At | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Cooking | Wastes the fewest ingredients, so cook with Trey. | |
Crafting Bilias | Highest success rate on Bilia recipes. | |
General help | Can craft and cook, but at a lower success rate than the specialist for each task. |
Recipes can be bought in certain cities, or attempted through the Experiment button when you hold the right materials. See Crafting and Cooking for the full system and How to Get More Bilias for the capture-item side of it.
A furniture item also called a fountain exists as an Anispace decoration, and is found in the reward room behind the Crimson Cavern Puzzle Solution. That is a decorative object, not a rest point.
