HUNGER is a multiplayer first-person extraction RPG developed and published by GOOD FUN CORPORATION. Set in a dark alternate history of Napoleonic Europe, the game blends brutal melee and ranged combat with deep, permanent character progression, questing, and crafting. Players take the role of a Living, a survivor navigating plague-twisted landscapes while competing against both horrific creatures and rival players.
The game is being developed for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is planned to launch in Early Access with a full 1.0 release to follow approximately two years later. System requirements have not yet been confirmed.
HUNGER is built around two pillars: deep RPG progression and the tense extraction loop. Every expedition into the world carries risk; death means losing the loot gathered on that run, though experience and character levels are never lost. This design encourages meaningful decisions about when to push forward and when to extract safely.

Unlike many extraction titles, HUNGER does not use forced wipes. A player's Living persists indefinitely, growing stronger over time through a level 1 to 100 progression system with over 100 customizable talents. Players who want a fresh challenge can opt into the voluntary Prestige mechanic, which resets a character to level 1 and wipes their Mastery trees in exchange for exclusive legendary cosmetics.
The world of HUNGER is a bleak reimagining of early 19th-century Europe during Napoleon's reign. A bacterium of unknown origin has swept across the continent, warping both the land and its people. The plague, known simply as the Hunger, spreads with the speed and violence of rabies and has left ruin across the old world. Twisted creatures have emerged from those who fell to the infection, while the few uninfected survivors cling to fortified strongholds.
