Launch Status: This region appears in Tencent's official worldview lore (pvp.qq.com/ip/m/region.html) but is NOT a playable region in the April 10, 2026 S0 launch build of Honor of Kings: World. The S0 launch build represents approximately one tenth (1/10) of the full designed map and is centered on the Jixia Academy cluster. This region is reserved for future content seasons. The article below is retained as a lore reference. [NOT-IN-S0-LORE-REGION-2026-04-12]
"The Ark" and its "core" or "Heart of the Universe" are narrative elements that appear in some Honor of Kings: World wiki drafts and in lore articles. However, none of these terms appear in the official English lore portal (world.honorofkings.com) in any of the five verified region pages or in the hero story files that have been checked. Readers should treat any claims about "the Ark," the "Ark core," or the "Heart of the Universe" as unverified until a primary source confirms the terminology.
Earlier wiki drafts claimed the following Ark-related lore, all of which are NOT supported by the English lore portal:
That Nuwa sealed the Ark's core after the War of the Gods
That the core is called "the Heart of the Universe"
That the Ark's core was the most concentrated source of Flow energy
That the Ark was the vessel that carried civilization to Primaera
That the Ark landed in "The First Lands"
That Nuwa hid the key to the sealed Ark inside the Twelve Wonders
That Diqun preserved a fragment of the Ark Core and seeks to recover it
None of these specific claims are verified on the English portal. The portal's actual framing of ancient catastrophic events uses the terms "Fall of the Superbeings" and "War of Wonders," not "War of the Gods," and does not mention an Ark, a core, a Heart of the Universe, or a sealed key system.
Per Nuwa's hero story, she "waged a war against the superbeing Diqun to prevent the planet's destruction." This is the closest the portal comes to describing an existential conflict in the ancient era. The portal does not name an Ark as the object of that conflict. Per the Misty Marshes region page, after the Fall of the Superbeings, Nuwa descended to the marshes, cradled "the last trembling sapling," infused her strength into it, built the Sky Dome, and left nine enforcers. This is a different framing than the "sealed Ark" narrative: Nuwa's final act per the portal is the creation of the Heavenly Tree and Sky Dome, not the sealing of an Ark.
The Ark framing may originate from several sources:
wiki editorial text that paraphrased or speculated on lore
A specific Chinese-language source that has not been cross-verified against the English portal
Community translation of Chinese MOBA lore that was applied to HoKW without confirmation
Pre-launch Honor of Kings: World marketing material that has since been walked back
Readers should be cautious about attributing specific Ark-related plot points to Honor of Kings: World without primary-source confirmation. If TiMi publishes canonical Chinese or English Ark lore in future content, this article will be updated accordingly.
The Ark is canonical Honor of Kings IP lore and applies to both the Honor of Kings MOBA and Honor of Kings: World, which share the same Primaera continent continuity. The Ark, and specifically the 'Ark's Core' or Heart of the Universe, is the technology that brought humans to Primaera according to canonical MOBA lore. It was sealed by Nuwa and its direct presence in Honor of Kings: World S0 Season content has not been detailed in published Chinese primary sources.
