2020 Mengqi originated in the Honor of Kings MOBA as a warrior hero with the title 'Dream Spirit' (梦奇, meaning 'strange dream'). In Honor of Kings: World, that identity is carried over as the basis for a pet / Huanling rather than a playable Resonance. Mengqi as a playable Resonance has not been confirmed for any future HoK:W season as of April 15, 2026.
