Overview
Mengqi (梦奇, Mèngqí) is a rare pet / Huanling hybrid companion in Honor of Kings: World. It is awarded as part of the S0 Season launch sign-in reward track, making it one of the most widely-owned rare companions at launch among players who logged in during the first week.
Combat Utility
Mengqi is functionally a spirit-summon companion with a defensive kit. Its signature ability wraps the player in a protective bubble during combat that continuously restores HP. This makes Mengqi one of the more valuable week-one companions for players who struggle with boss-fight survivability, as the bubble-plus-heal can buy time through Perfect Dodge windows or during posture-break burst phases.
Pet and Huanling Role
Mengqi spans both the Pet and Huanling systems. As a home-visible pet it can follow the player through the open world. As a combat Huanling slotted into the combat loadout, it participates in fights alongside the player's two active Resonances.

Mengqi is one of the headline rewards in the launch-window sign-in track. Players who miss the S0 window may not be able to retroactively earn Mengqi through the same system, though Tencent has not explicitly ruled out future re-releases.
Character Origin
Mengqi originated in the Honor of Kings MOBA as a warrior hero with the title 'Dream Spirit' (梦奇, meaning 'strange dream'). In Honor of Kings: World, that identity is carried over as the basis for a pet / Huanling rather than a playable Resonance. Mengqi as a playable Resonance has not been confirmed for any future HoK:W season as of April 15, 2026.
