Overview

Diqun is a superbeing antagonist in Honor of Kings: World's lore, documented on the Honor of Kings worldview portal. The portal confirms he fought a war against Nuwa during the ancient era, and his former enforcer Haya is now planning his return from the northern desert.

War with Nuwa

From the Nuwa hero story on the portal: "The Primaeran civilization was created by Nuwa, a superbeing who possesses the power to cultivate new worlds. Any threat to mankind and civilization will not escape her wrath, and at one point she even waged a war against the superbeing Diqun to prevent the planet's destruction." This is the portal's clearest confirmation that Diqun was on the opposite side of Nuwa during a major conflict, and that the stakes of their war were high enough to threaten the entire planet. The portal does not specify the cause of their conflict or name a specific "polluted Sun Tower" as the trigger.

Haya and the Planned Return

The Haya hero story on the portal provides the most direct evidence of Diqun's current status: "A young girl once abandoned as 'useless', Haya was saved by Diqun. She then became an enforcer, vowing to dedicate her life to the deity. During the Fall of the Superbeings, Haya died saving Diqun. Her soul remained in a slumber atop Tianque Peak in the northern desert. A thousand years later, she was awakened by a skeleton blast, and began to plan Diqun's return... Now, her conspiracy gradually surfaces. The long-buried events from a millennium ago in Alsahraa are about to be revealed..."

This establishes several important facts: (1) Haya was saved by Diqun and became his enforcer; (2) Haya died protecting Diqun during the Fall of the Superbeings; (3) Her soul remained in slumber for roughly a thousand years on Tianque Peak in the northern desert; (4) She has now awakened and is actively planning Diqun's return; (5) The events tying this together happened in Alsahraa and are part of an unfolding conspiracy. The portal does NOT state that Diqun is "revived as a consciousness"; it only tells us that Haya is planning his return without specifying the mechanism.
