Removed prior-game history and role claims for the Coquette, Comet and Banshee; reconciled the Coquette variants with the Coquette and Vehicles pages; fixed garbled sentences and named the two modification shops from the storefront copy
Sports cars are one of the most showcased vehicle classes in Grand Theft Auto VI pre-release marketing. This reflects the tropical-luxury aesthetic of Vice City and the larger state of Leonida. The second trailer in particular devoted multiple seconds of highway footage to clearly identifiable sports cars, including an Invetero Coquette and a Pfister Comet. These vehicles fill the performance slot between everyday sedans and top-tier supercars.
The sports car class covers two-door and some four-door performance cars that sit below supercars in raw speed but deliver sharp handling, strong acceleration, and show looks.
Rockstar has not published an official sports-car list yet, so what is known comes from visual identification of cars that appear on-screen during the first and second trailers. Frame-by-frame trailer analysis has matched several visible sports cars to established in-universe brands. Anything beyond those identifications should be treated as speculation until Rockstar confirms it directly.
The sports cars below have been identified through frame-by-frame review of Trailer 2 footage.

Model | Manufacturer | Real-World Inspiration | Where It Appears |
|---|---|---|---|
Invetero | Chevrolet Corvette C7 (a separate C8-style car appears in Trailer 1) | Trailer 2 highway sequence, blue hardtop ahead of Jason | |
Comet | Pfister | Porsche 911 | Trailer 2, stopped at an intersection |
Banshee | Bravado | Dodge Viper | Trailer 2, shown near the Comet at an intersection |
The Vehicles page lists further sports cars and supercars identified in trailer footage and official screenshots, including the Grotti Carbonizzare, Pfister Growler, Maibatsu Penumbra, Emperor Vectre and Obey 8F Drafter.
The Coquette is the standout sports car of Trailer 2. A blue hardtop appears on a highway ahead of Jason during a multi-car tracking shot, and its design follows the seventh-generation (C7) Chevrolet Corvette. A separate C8-style model, identified visually as the Coquette D10, is parked on a Vice Beach street in Trailer 1 and appears in official screenshots. See Invetero Coquette for details.
The Comet appears in the Trailer 2 intersection sequence, stopped alongside other sporty and exotic cars. It is modelled on the Porsche 911, and its appearance places Pfister in Grand Theft Auto VI as a high-end European sports car marque. Trailer 1 also shows a Comet S2 Cabrio with its top down.
Appearing in the same intersection frame as the Comet, the Banshee is modelled on the Dodge Viper. Its distinctive long hood, short rear deck, and side-exit exhaust cues align with the current Viper silhouette.
Based on the environments shown in Trailer 2, the class looks suited to:
Long highway stretches between Vice City, Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn where peak speed matters more than off-road capability.
Tight city weaving through Vice City traffic, where sports cars' lower profiles and responsive steering beat SUVs and trucks.
Compared with SUVs and other heavier vehicles, sports cars trade cargo space and some bumper durability for speed and handling.
The tropical, beach-heavy setting of Vice City suits convertibles and other open-top sports cars, and Trailer 2 shows several sports cars in brightly lit Vice City highway shots with clear reflections on painted bodies. Hardtop variants were more common in the visible footage than convertibles, though a Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio with its top down appears in Trailer 1.
Protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos have not been shown driving a sports car themselves in the trailers. The cars appear as NPC traffic rather than as personal vehicles for the leads. Which sports cars end up as mission-critical vehicles is not yet known.
Rockstar has not named any sports car. The models on this page, and the wider list on the Vehicles page, are visual identifications from trailers and official screenshots.
The Coquette's paint reflections and interior trim textures are clearly visible in Trailer 2.
The Ultimate Edition storefront copy names two modification shops, Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's. Rockstar has not detailed customization options for sports cars.
Additional details will be confirmed closer to the November 19, 2026 launch.
