Overview
On June 24, 2026, Rockstar Games confirmed pricing, editions, and pre-order timing for Grand Theft Auto VI. Pre-orders open at midnight local time on June 25, 2026 on digital storefronts and at select retailers. The game launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as a single-player experience. It ships in two editions: a Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition at $99.99. Every pre-order, and any purchase made before November 20, 2026, also includes the Vintage Vice City Pack.

The $79.99 standard price is a step up from the $69.99 that defined the current console generation. Both editions are sold digitally on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, and at physical retailers.
Ultimate Edition
Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as amplifying "the deepest and most immersive GTA experience yet with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story." Its bonus content is not handed over all at once; new items unlock across the campaign as players progress through each chapter.

Weapons and Activities
The Ultimate Edition adds the his-and-hers Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers and personalized variants of Jason's Girardi ES9 and Lucia's Klose K17 pistols. It also introduces the Classic Car Collection, a special commission from a collector and fixer named Wyman: players track down abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars across Leonida, then restore them to their former glory. The edition also includes two exclusive side missions.
Vintage Vice City Pack
The Vintage Vice City Pack is a pre-order bonus included with all pre-orders and with any purchase made before November 20, 2026 (with physical pre-orders, while stocks last). Rockstar describes it as "a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest."

Pre-Loading and Physical Copies
Players who pre-order digital versions can begin pre-loading on November 12, 2026, a week ahead of the November 19 launch. Physical copies contain a download code inside the box rather than a disc, and are also available from November 12 to support pre-loading. Digital pre-orders include a free month of GTA+.
Where to Pre-Order
Pre-orders are available on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and at select retailers from midnight local time on June 25, 2026. Both console storefronts previously listed the game as wishlist-only; the wishlist option flips to pre-order when the window opens.
