Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is an upcoming action-adventure game from Rockstar North and Rockstar Games. It's the seventh main Grand Theft Auto game and follows GTA V.
Release Date
November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. PC release expected later.
Setting
The game takes place in Leonida, a fictional U.S. state based on Florida. The main city is Vice City (Miami), with surrounding areas including Grassrivers (Everglades), the Leonida Keys (Florida Keys), and other locations.
Story
Players follow Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal couple. After a job goes wrong, they find themselves caught in a conspiracy spanning the state of Leonida. They have to rely on each other to survive while dealing with grifters, drug runners, and dangerous criminals.
Key Features

Reception
The first trailer got over 475 million views in 24 hours, breaking video game trailer records. The game won Most Wanted Game at the Golden Joystick Awards and Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards in 2024 and 2025.
