Terra is a legacy Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance, originally from FINAL FANTASY VI. Her official bio for this game describes a girl who possesses the long-lost power of magic, and it assigns her the role word Commando: she is capable of consistently unleashing high damage with fire-, water-, and ice-element magic.
Combat Profile
Commando is one of the official role words Square Enix uses for Visions, and Terra shares it with Shantotto. In Terra's case it means dependable output: steady, repeatable damage across her three elements rather than support work. Official materials offer a matching build example, enhancing a character with high attack power by equipping a Vision that excels on the offensive, and Terra's consistent damage profile fits that brief. Affinity with her Vision also grows through battles, unlocking further abilities and skills for the wearer.
Fire, water, and ice cover a wide band of enemy weaknesses. Hitting a weakness shaves an enemy's Stagger Gauge faster than a neutral hit, so a tri-element caster keeps stagger pressure flexible; how staggering converts into extra actions is covered at Stagger System. Abilities she teaches stay equippable while other Visions are active, within the cost limit described at Abilities and Mastery.
Her kit was designed from zero for this game. The developers rebuilt every legacy character's elements and ability types around this battle system while keeping signature traits, so nothing on this page is imported from FINAL FANTASY VI.
On the official Japanese character page she appears under her Japanese name, Tina.
How to Obtain
Terra's Vision is unlocked at a vision crystal sanctum, one of the shrines scattered across the world where you revisit stories from the original games. Every Vision is earnable in-game, with no DLC.
The first time you call her into battle, the game plays a short movie explaining her original game for players who never met her there.
Resonance
Each Vision powers a unique Resonance attack at the end of the bonus phase after a sweeping stagger, one per sweeping stagger, each with its own cinematic; legacy heroes' sequences render in full 3D. Terra's specific Resonance has not been individually detailed. For the full roster, see List of Visions.
