Jake is the leader of the rebel army opposing the Zoldaad Empire in Final Fantasy Resonance. Square Enix introduced him on August 24, 2026, alongside the empire itself and the magiapolis of Mysidia. Jonah Scott voices him in English and Yoshimasa Hosoya in Japanese.

Leader of the Rebel Army

Life under the tyranny of Zoldaad is hard, and the domestic unrest it has produced gave rise to a rebel army. Jake leads it. His motive is stated plainly in official material: he will do whatever it takes to end his countrymen's suffering under the empire's boot.

Personality

Jake comes off as breezy and easily distracted by women, and the light manner is the first thing official material mentions about him. Under it sits a heart that beats fervently for his people. Nothing published so far explains how he came to lead the rebellion or who else stands in it with him.

In Battle

Jake makes luck his ally. Official material calls his fighting style tricky and names two of his abilities, Coin Toss and Gamble Shot, both described as chancy rather than dependable. No damage values, costs or hit rates have been published for either ability, and neither has his job. The turn-based system they sit inside is covered at Combat.
