EXODUS is targeted for an Early 2027 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. On PC it is confirmed for both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The release window was confirmed in a December 2025 trailer titled "The Rise of Jun Aslan", which also set the game's promotional cadence into the launch year.
Platforms
Platform | Status |
|---|---|
PC (Windows) | Confirmed; Steam and Epic Games Store |
PlayStation 5 | Confirmed |
Xbox Series X|S | Confirmed |
EXODUS is a single-player game with full controller support. The store listing also flags DualSense and DualShock controller support specifically, so PlayStation pads are covered on PC as well as on console. No multiplayer modes have been announced.
Languages
The store listing shows nine languages with full interface, audio, and subtitles support:
English
French
Italian
German
Spanish (Spain)
Japanese
Korean
Portuguese (Brazil)
Simplified Chinese
Additional language support, if any, is expected to be announced closer to launch.
Mature content
EXODUS is being prepared for a mature audience. The mature-content notice mentions frequent violence and gore, some nudity or sexual content, and strong language. Final regional age ratings (ESRB, PEGI, CERO) will be published once the certification process is complete.
System requirements
As of August 2026 system requirements were still listed as "TBD". Archetype Entertainment has not published minimum or recommended specifications as of this article's writing. This entry will be updated once official requirements are released.
Development status
Archetype Entertainment described EXODUS as being in the final stretch of development when it published the June 2026 extended gameplay reveal, and the publisher side has since put a firmer frame around what that means. In its second-quarter 2026 results, Hasbro told investors that EXODUS remains planned for 2027 and that 2026 should be its peak year of investment in digital games because EXODUS and its other in-house title are entering their finishing phases.
The same set of results carried a cancellation notice for several other digital projects that had been scheduled for 2028 and beyond, along with a $56 million non-cash write-down against them. EXODUS was not one of the cancelled projects; the publisher named it among the small group of owned titles it is concentrating investment behind. For a game this far from launch, an explicit exclusion from a cancellation round is a useful status signal in its own right, and it is the most recent word on the release window from anyone above the studio.
Nothing in that disclosure moved the window. Early 2027 remains the target, and the studio has not published a narrower date. See Story and Setting for the campaign this schedule is building toward.

Archetype Entertainment has published the shape of what comes next: focused deep dives on companions and romance, on Persepolis as an RPG hub, on choices and consequences, on roleplaying mechanics, and on Time Dilation, rolling out across the months before launch. A fuller reveal of the female Jun was also promised after the June 2026 showcase. Between the June 2026 community update and early August 2026 the studio kept publishing short-form clips on its own channel, including looks at the Recycler, Persepolis, the Awakened, and individual companions, but no new long-form gameplay drop or monthly community update landed in that stretch.
