Ahead of its Early Access launch, Ember and Blade has picked up a set of tie-ins and public showings that sit outside the game itself. Some of them affect what players actually receive when they buy it, so they are worth tracking alongside the release schedule.
The Fortnite Cosmetics Tie-In
The largest of these is a cross-title collaboration announced in November 2025. Ember and Blade cosmetics are set to arrive in Fortnite to coincide with the game's launch, letting Fortnite players use the action game's demon-hunting look inside the battle royale.
The delivery method is the part that matters. The cosmetics are not being sold separately in the Fortnite item shop: they are included with every Epic Games Store purchase of Ember and Blade, granted at launch. In practice that makes the Epic edition of the game the route to the Fortnite items, so which storefront a player buys on is not purely a matter of preference.
The Branded Graphics Card
In June 2026 the studio announced a hardware tie-in in South Korea: a limited Ember and Blade edition of a Radeon DUAL RX 9060 8 GB gaming graphics card, with a custom design reflecting the game's look. It was listed through the major Korean online retail platforms.
The card was reported as bundling character stickers and game activation codes usable once the game goes into service. Because the offer was a regional retail promotion rather than a global edition, players outside South Korea should not read it as a general pre-order bonus.
Convention and Showcase Appearances
The game has also been shown in person repeatedly during development, usually with a newer build than the one publicly available at the time.
Event | When | What Was Shown |
|---|---|---|
Steam Next Fest | October 2025 | The expanded festival demo adding Act 2, the boss Arcanus the Faceless, meta progression and Shay's Hideout, featured on the Epic Games Store at the same time |
Unite Seoul 2026 | July 2026 | Development sessions on the game's visual implementation in Unity and on optimising large-scale battles, with a playable build in the conference's Made with Unity showcase |
COREBLAZER Game Fest 2026 | 25 to 26 July 2026, Shanghai | A playable demo at the Epic Games booth, running a build with the improved combo system rather than the April public version |
The Shanghai appearance is the clearest signal so far of interest in the Chinese market, and the Seoul conference is where the game's use of the Unity engine was set out publicly. The combo system shown at the Shanghai build is the one described on Combat and in the run-up covered on Demo History.
Storefront Recognition
The game was also named among the Epic Games Store's anticipated new titles for the year, which is consistent with the storefront-level promotion around it: the simultaneous Epic feature during the autumn 2025 festival build, the Epic booth showing in Shanghai, and the Fortnite cosmetics arrangement all point the same direction.
What These Do Not Change
None of these tie-ins alter the game's content, its platforms, or its schedule. Pricing and edition tiers still have not been announced, and no console beyond PlayStation 5 has been named. Treat the graphics-card bundle in particular as a regional promotion with its own terms rather than part of the game's own offering.
