Drakantos is built around playing alongside other people. Beyond combat, it includes guilds, cooperative and cross-platform play, and a set of social and victory-screen features that make matches feel connected. Collectibles, fishing, housing, and the economy each have their own systems and are covered on separate pages.
Guilds
Players can form and join guilds. Guilds are the main social structure for group progression and competition, and the long-term goal is to ascend and become the most powerful guild on the continent. They give players a banner to organize under as they take on the Open World and Adventurer's Guild content together and compete in PvP Modes.
Co-op and Cross-Platform Play
You can team up with friends or play solo, and the game supports both styles of play. Cross-platform multiplayer lets PC (Windows) and Linux players play together in the same world and the same matches, so a group is not split by platform. This shared multiplayer foundation runs through the open world and the competitive modes alike.
Chat, Emotes, and the Victory Screen
Social features carry into and after a match. Players can use chat and emotes, including on the victory screen at the end of a game. A few competitive touches help teams read a match at a glance:
Feature | Details |
|---|---|
Chat and emotes | Available during play and on the victory screen at the end of a match. |
Ally ultimate charge | An ally's ultimate charge is visible on the scoreboard, so teammates can coordinate around it. |
MVP bonus | The best performer of a match (the MVP) gets a plus 10% points bonus. |
Ping wheel and scoreboard | In PvP, a ping wheel is bound to the mouse wheel and the scoreboard is shown on Tab. |
Collectibles
Drakantos has a large collection of pets and mounts to find and trade, along with collectible card systems. These are covered in detail on the Pets, Mounts, and Collectibles page.
Economy and Lifestyle
Fishing, housing, the player Market, crafting, and global events are part of the game's lifestyle and economy layer. For those systems, see the Lifestyle and Economy page.
