11 The Lunar Game is Bakir's contest at Lunar Manor. Coen enters through Farkas's plan, survives a maze and then decides how to approach the boyar. The contestant choices affect whether Bakir can be isolated in the treasury.

1515 Removing the mask immediately leads to a fight against Bakir and his followers. Coen first faces five enemies, including Bakir's consort, before fighting Bakir. This route clears the manor's opposition, but involves the larger encounter.

1717 The treasury route isolates Bakir for the fight. It requires telling Cockroach about the plan, leaving Cockroach alive, sparing Porcupine at the first meeting and then killing Porcupine to claim the token. At the celebration, keep the sword and mask, accept the hospitality and drink the toasts. When Cockroach's accusation comes up, deny the scheme and say he lied. These steps build the approval needed for an invitation to the treasury.

1919 Fighting Bakir alone avoids the initial wave, but his followers and consort remain outside afterward. Asking for Farkas's ring instead of attacking does not force a fight: Bakir denies having it, offers coin and remains alive. Choose the route according to whether the immediate goal is defeating the boyar or leaving him in place.

2323 After defeating Bakir, the blood decision offers the night ability Shadowstorm if Coen drains him. His armor must be looted from the place he died. The treasury is then accessible, and the amethyst ring lies in its northwest part.

2525 Inspecting the ring reveals its magical nature. Giving it to Farkas closes The Ring at once. Keeping it starts the search for someone who can explain it. This is separate from merely asking Bakir for the ring during the celebration.

This invitation is unavailable if his first defeat is during the final castle assault, even though he can still be drained there at night. An invited Bakir comments during travel and helps briefly against Brencis, who later absorbs his soul and turns his power against Coen.
