The Cursed Chasm is the treasure investigation beneath the broken bridge near Coward's Path. It leads to the legendary longsword Durandal and a clue for another cache.

Starting the quest

The fight below the bridge

The Altenmarkt innkeeper can provide gossip about Skender's lost treasure, but visiting the chasm also starts the quest directly. Descend to the wreckage and prepare to face wolves, spirits and Echo.

Echo's ranged drain removes Coen's health while restoring its own. Strike it when the drain begins to interrupt the recovery. Dodge attacks marked by the red skull, then clear any remaining enemies before searching the wagon.

Recovering the sword

Use Focus Mode around the wreckage and search the ruined wagon. Taking Durandal completes the quest. The Treasure Map: Silver Cache found in the same area starts Finders Keepers, so inspect the other objects before leaving.
