Someone Needs a Lesson is a missable daytime quest in Laslea Centre. It begins when Coen approaches Vasil on the street northeast of the shrine. Vasil insults Coen and his mother, then runs through the village.
Catching and confronting Vasil
Chase Vasil and interact once Coen is close enough. This pursuit is the quest's listed one-segment time cost. At the confrontation, continue the conversation or select the response marked with a fist to fight him. Atanas arrives after either approach, so winning the first fistfight does not finish the quest.
Atanas's intervention
Response | What happens |
|---|---|
Stop Atanas | Refuse to support his plan or intervene before he punishes Vasil. This can lead to a fistfight with Atanas; defeat him to stop it. |
Let Atanas proceed | Go with him but decline to punish Vasil yourself. Without a further intervention, Atanas carries it out. |
Join the punishment | Agree to take part. Coen strikes Vasil with a stick. |
Talk to Vasil once more after dealing with Atanas. The final dialogue reflects the preceding decisions, but each route completes the quest and awards 250 XP. The reward does not require Coen to join the punishment.
