2020 Where Legendary Gear Comes From

2222 A handful of sources account for most of the list. Each boyar drops or guards at least one piece, and Xanthe's court activities hand out several more (four or five, depending on whether Home Sweet Home is counted). Anca's questline pays out a chestpiece and, depending on the Font choice, a pair of greaves. Bandit treasure maps hide several, and two merchants sell legendary gear outright: the silver trader in Svartrau and the hermit of the Uriashi, who also forges the two Arbiter pieces. A found legendary does not stay ahead of Coen on its own, though. Blacksmiths upgrade weapons to keep pace with his level, which matters most for pieces picked up early.

2424 Two achievements are tied to named legendary gear: Arbiter's Blade for restoring St Mihai's sword, and Arbiter's Regalia for gathering and fully upgrading the Arbiter armour. See Achievements and Bosses.
