Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses
August 26, 2026 at 07:42 PM
Noted the unresolved conflict between the cosmetic-suits statement and the reported suit health bonus, hedged the four-Technique-Point reconciliation, settled the Night Hunt name, added the Gold Claws design, two unnamed suit looks, the designer credits for two Deluxe suits, the full claw names, and the Japanese disc price
Marvel's Wolverine ships in two digital editions plus a physical disc release, with an upgrade path between them. Pre-orders opened on June 2, 2026, and the game releases on September 15, 2026.
Edition | USD | GBP | EUR | JPY |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Standard Edition | $69.99 | £69.99 | €79.99 | ¥8,980 |
Digital Deluxe Edition | $79.99 | £79.99 | €89.99 | ¥9,980 |
Digital Deluxe Upgrade | $10.00 | £10.00 | Not published | Not published |
The Digital Deluxe Upgrade converts a Standard Edition purchase into the Deluxe contents after the fact, so buying the base game first does not lock you out of the extras.
A physical disc edition is also sold, and in Japan it carries a recommended price of ¥8,980 including tax. Owners of a disc copy receive several accessibility features through an update at launch rather than on the disc itself.
On top of the base game, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes five suits, five claw types, and three additional Technique Points.
Type | Items |
|---|---|
Suits | Incredible, Savage, Age of Apocalypse, Night Hunt, New Leather |
Claws | Smooth-Edged Claws, Hollow Blade Claws, Thick Claws, Serrated Spine Claws, Tapered Claws |
Technique Points | Three, spendable immediately on Special Techniques and upgrades |
One official surface lists the Night Hunt suit as Night Hunter. Every other official listing uses Night Hunt, which is the name used here.

Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition stacks the two Technique Point grants, so the combined figure is four: three from the edition and one from the pre-order bonus. Storefront listings that show four appear to be counting the total rather than contradicting the edition contents, though no source states this directly.
Insomniac has stated that the suits and claws are purely cosmetic. The exclusive items are Deluxe-only, but suits and claws in general are obtainable in the base game through standard progression, so the edition buys early or exclusive designs. One hands-on session reported that unlocking suits raised a maximum-health figure in the menus, which has not been reconciled with the official purely cosmetic wording, so neither reading should be treated as settled.
Technique Points are the exception. They are a real progression currency, and the four granted up front are points you would otherwise have to earn. See Progression and Upgrades.
Logan's default suit is Battle Reborn. Beyond the edition items, hands-on previews counted 27 suit slots and roughly 20 claw designs in the customisation menus, and suits and claws can be mixed and matched. The full roster has not been published.
One claw design outside the edition items has been named. Gold Claws was shown alongside the announcement on August 21, 2026 that the game had gone gold, and coverage of that announcement describes it as a claw design players can unlock and equip in the game. No unlock condition has been published.
The suits confirmed by name so far are:
Suit | How it is obtained |
|---|---|
Battle Reborn | Default suit. |
Incredible | Digital Deluxe Edition. |
Savage | Digital Deluxe Edition. Original design by Adam Kubert. |
Age of Apocalypse | Digital Deluxe Edition. |
Night Hunt | Digital Deluxe Edition. Original design by Iban Coello. Listed once as Night Hunter. |
New Leather | Digital Deluxe Edition. |
Classic Brown | Pre-order bonus; unlocked early rather than exclusively. |
MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls suit | Unlocked through standard progression from day one, as part of a crossover with that game. |
When Two Pals Went to Hollywood | Confirmed by the game director as a film-inspired suit in the base game. |
Two further looks have been described without being given names: a classic undershirt and jeans outfit, and a Weapon X helmeted style. Both were seen in the customisation menus during hands-on sessions.
A Deadpool-themed outfit has also been shown without a published name. Insomniac has said that specific comic creators were commissioned to design some of the game's suits, so at least part of the unpublished roster is original artwork made for this release.
Suits are not simply unlocked from a list: Mike Daly has confirmed that you craft them in the game, using raw materials found in hidden crates. That system is covered under suit crafting.
Storefront listings carry an in-game purchases flag. Insomniac has not described what those purchases are, and nothing in official material or hands-on coverage explains the model, so nothing further is documented here until it is.
