October 23, 2026 at 01:17 PM
Added quest requirements, route and rewards
A Closer Look follows Crake's departure from the Manumit Hideout after Distant Shadows. It reveals his history with Ascar and includes an optional romance scene.
Detail | Requirement |
|---|---|
Start | Speak with Drogos after Distant Shadows and offer to talk to Crake. |
Deadline | Find and speak with Crake within one in-game day. |
Listed time | 1 segment for the conversation, plus 1 for the optional romance. |
Stage | What to do |
|---|---|
Find Crake | Leave through Farriers' Gate and look for his private spot outside the city, across from Greifberg. |
Hear his story | Continue the conversation about Ascar and the breakdown of their relationship. Reaching the full explanation unlocks The Manumit achievement. |
Respond to his kiss | Kiss him back to start the romance scene, or decline to keep the relationship platonic. |
Romance is optional for the achievement and for continuing his questline. Declining the kiss saves the extra segment and does not close Rise at Dawn.
500 XP and 1 skill point. The Manumit achievement requires the complete secret-reveal conversation, rather than the romance scene.
