Overview

Where the Sweetness Stopped is a request quest in the Duchy of Hernand, part of the Tales from the Corners of Hernand quest series. Unlike Faked Tears and Forest of Trickery, this quest involves a genuine rescue rather than a deception. A honey deliveryman from Pollengarth Apiary has been captured by bandits who want to steal his honey shipment. Kliff must defeat the bandits, free the deliveryman, and escort him to safety.

Objectives

1. Find and rescue the captured honey deliveryman near Pollengarth Apiary

2. Defeat the bandits holding him

3. Escort the deliveryman to Emberwind Shop

4. Return to Pollengarth Apiary and inform the Beekeeper

Walkthrough

Phase 1: Rescue

Near Pollengarth Apiary, you will find a broken wagon and a group of bandits surrounding a tied-up man. The bandits are attempting to steal the honey shipment. Engage and defeat all the bandits, then speak with the freed deliveryman. He explains what happened and asks for help getting to safety.

Phase 2: Escort

The deliveryman needs to reach Emberwind Shop. Escort him along the road, watching for any additional threats. Upon arriving at the shop, he thanks you and asks one final favor: inform the Beekeeper back at Pollengarth Apiary about the attack so security measures can be taken.

Phase 3: Reporting

Return to Pollengarth Apiary and speak with the Beekeeper. Relay what happened to the deliveryman, and the Beekeeper will reward you for your trouble.

Rewards

Honey is a useful cooking ingredient that can be used at bonfires to prepare meals with healing and buff effects.

Tips

• This is one of the few Tales from the Corners of Hernand quests that provides actual item rewards (Honey x10).

• The bandits near the wagon are not particularly strong. Standard combat tactics should handle them easily.

• Save the Honey for cooking rather than selling it. Honey-based recipes provide useful buffs.

• Complete all four Tales from the Corners of Hernand quests (Faked Tears, Forest of Trickery, this quest, and Woodcutter in Peril) for full series completion.
