Overview

Vertical Flight is a traversal skill in Crimson Desert, available to Oongka. It belongs to the Health (Red) branch of the skill tree. Take off from the ground using Oongka's rocket pack.

How It Works

Vertical Flight lets Oongka launch himself straight up using his built-in rocket pack. Unlike gliding or jumping abilities, Vertical Flight provides direct vertical ascent from the ground or while already airborne. This makes Oongka uniquely capable of reaching elevated terrain without needing to find a climbable surface or ledge.

The skill drains Stamina continuously while active. Once Stamina runs out, the rocket pack shuts off and Oongka enters a free fall. Players should monitor the Stamina bar carefully to avoid getting stranded at a dangerous height with no way to control the descent.

Tactical Tips

• Vertical Flight is primarily a traversal skill, but it can also be used in combat to escape ground-level area-of-effect attacks from bosses.

• After gaining height with Vertical Flight, Oongka can transition into aerial attacks or use Aerial Evasive Shot to fire while airborne.

• Upgrade Oongka's maximum Stamina through the Health skill tree to extend the duration of Vertical Flight.

• Combine with Scatter Shot for a tactic of launching upward, then raining cannon fire down on grouped enemies.

Tips

• Keep an eye on your Stamina bar when using this skill repeatedly; running out mid-combo leaves you vulnerable.
