Vellua is a coastal village situated south of Hernand. The settlement is renowned for its abundant fish resources and is well known as a hotspot frequented by master anglers. Frequent pirate attacks have left some of its residents living in fear, and the village carries a tense atmosphere beneath its picturesque seaside charm.
The village sits along the southern coast of the Hernand region, accessible by road from the City of Hernand. Its harbor faces the open sea, and the Church of Vellua stands as a landmark at the center of the settlement. Rocky cliffs frame the eastern side of the cove, and a sandy beach stretches along the waterfront.

Pirate Threat | The surrounding waters are patrolled by pirates, and their attacks on the village are a recurring concern. Evidence of raids can be seen throughout the settlement. |
A pirate ship called The Singing Catfish is anchored in Vellua's cove, visible from the village shore but not directly accessible on foot. To board the ship, players need to find a small rowboat on a beach on the east side of the cove.
Head to the east side of the cove and look for a small rowboat on the beach.
Interact with the rowboat to paddle out toward the ship. Row under the cannons toward either side of the hull.
Climb the ladder on the side of the ship to board it.
Once aboard The Singing Catfish, players face a fight against pirates and the ship's vice captain. The confined deck space makes the fight tricky, as some enemies throw grenades. Clear the deck and then explore the cabins below.
The real prize is found below deck in a room with a treasure chest. Inside is the Pirate King Hat, a unique head accessory with a passive ability called "Detect Treasure" that causes the feather on the hat to glow when a treasure chest is nearby. This makes it one of the most valuable exploration accessories in the game.
Vellua is home to fishermen, merchants, and church members. The village's residents provide context for the ongoing pirate conflict and offer services related to fishing and trade.
Several quests are tied to Vellua and its surrounding waters. Pirate-related bounty notices and fishing requests can be found on the local notice board. The village also serves as a reference point for faction quests involving the southern coast.
