The Varnian Crown is sold by the contribution shopkeeper at the Varnia Contribution Shop, which sits in the middle of Varnia. The shop costs 70 contribution points, the same baseline price as every other regional crown in the game. You must already have at least 70 Varnia Contribution Points banked before the purchase becomes available.
To reach the contribution shopkeeper without being harassed by the city guards, equip your local Vizion (faction disguise) before walking into the castle district. With the Vizion on, the patrols will leave you alone long enough to complete the trade.
Owning the Varnian Crown expands the storefront of Zara, the Varnia saddler, beyond what reputation alone provides. Even a player who has maxed Zara's Reputation to 100 will only see her intermediate horse gear unless the crown is in their inventory. Once it is, three top-tier pieces unlock for purchase:
Hagmund Champron (tied for the best champron in the game at +15 horse attack, alongside the Varnian Champron).
Hagmund Saddle (rounds out the Hagmund tier-2 set).
Hagmund Barding (+80 horse defense, the strongest horse body armor available).
The crown does not have to be equipped after purchase. Once it sits in your inventory, the saddler's expanded stock unlocks automatically the next time you open her storefront.
If you are still working toward the contribution-point threshold, the fastest way to bank Varnia points is to clear Grey Maze XP missions for nearby construction projects. Each project posting typically pays 500 XP or 1,000 XP, which converts into multiple full reputation levels at once. Pair Grey Maze missions with whatever active Houses Byron or local trade-group quests are available in the region for a steady drip of points between major story chapters.
