Overview

Two-handed halberds are hybrid polearm weapons that combine an axe blade with a spear tip on a long shaft. This versatile design allows halberds to perform both slashing and thrusting attacks, giving them a broader combat toolkit than pure spears or axes. Halberds are favored by guards, soldiers, and warriors who need a weapon capable of handling any situation.

Halberds can be upgraded through the refining system to increase their base stats. Many support Abyss Core slots for further customization.

There are 13 halberds currently known in Crimson Desert. The table below lists all of them sorted by grade and attack power.

Combat Overview

Halberds offer the best of both worlds: the reach of a spear and the cutting power of an axe. Thrust attacks keep enemies at bay, while sweeping slashes deal heavy damage to groups. The axe head can hook shields and pull enemies off balance, making halberds particularly effective against heavily armored opponents.

Abyss Gear and Refining

Halberds can be refined at a blacksmith and slotted with Abyss Gear to raise their base attack and add effects. Their hybrid reach makes them comfortable to play because thrusts keep distance while sweeps punish grouped enemies, so survivability and crit gears both perform well. The Aeserion Halberd leads the list at 14 attack with Mythic grade.
