The Wolf's Ballad is a faction quest in Crimson Desert, part of the The One and Only, Diederik quest series. This quest takes place in the Hernand region.

Reunited after the Calphade War, Diederik was still as full of hope and joy as ever. His carefree manner made it seem as though things had returned to the good old days.

Tailor Unlock

The Wolf's Ballad is the Diederik reunion that unlocks the Greymane Camp tailor. It sits inside the The One and Only, Diederik series. You pick it up during later Delesyia faction progression in the Redfox Merchants tab.

Grey Wolf Leather Armor

Finishing The Wolf's Ballad unlocks Diederik's stall at the Howling Hill camp. He sells the Grey Wolf Leather Armor Set, which visually matches Kliff's original Greymane classic outfit. The sooner you reach Diederik in the chain, the sooner you can buy the full set. Certain pieces can also be crafted at a Blacksmith if you have examined the appropriate crafting manual, giving you two ways to complete the set.

Step by Step Walkthrough

1. Progress Delesyia faction quests to unlock the Redfox Merchants tab.

2. Pick up The Wolf's Ballad in Pailune. The marker routes you to the far east of the continent, so plan for travel time.

3. Find Diederik at the Camp Tailor set-up point and trigger the dialogue.

4. Complete the objective tied to the quest line (recovery of the ballad lead).

5. Rest or fast travel. Diederik sets up his tailor tent at the Howling Hill Greymane Camp after the quest completes.

6. Visit Diederik at camp to browse and buy the Grey Wolf Leather Armor Set.

Tips

• Start the Greymane recruitment chains as early as possible. Every extra day Diederik spends at camp is another day you can buy from the Grey Wolf stall.

• Pair this with A Familiar Voice at the Redfox Trading Post for a clean Diederik-focused run.
