Initial version with full inventory, recipes, and lore
Ronnie is the dedicated cook of the Greymanes, running the Base Camp Food Shop at Greymane Camp in Howling Hill. He is one of two permanent vendors at the camp, alongside Tranan, who handles equipment. Ronnie sells cooking ingredients, prepared foods, and cooking recipes that players can learn and use at any cooking station.
Ronnie is responsible for feeding the entire Greymane faction. Despite his reputation as a talented cook, his gukbap (a traditional Korean soup-over-rice dish) is apparently always tasteless, something his companions tease him about. He recently took on an apprentice named Jonny to help manage the growing demand as more people arrive at the camp.
Ronnie appears in two places during the story:
Glenbright Farm during the Embers of Return quest, where you first encounter him alongside the other Greymanes.
Greymane Camp, Howling Hill at the Base Camp Food Shop. This is his permanent location once the camp is operational.
His food stall is near the campfire and cooking pot at Greymane Camp. You can buy from him at any time of day.
Ronnie stocks a wide selection of raw ingredients, prepared dishes, beverages, and cooking recipes. Certain prepared foods like Chewy Rice Cakes and Meat and Vegetable Porridge are available in limited quantities and restock daily at midnight (in-game time). Prices are listed in copper and silver.

Food in Crimson Desert restores health, spirit, and stamina, and some dishes also remove negative status effects or grant temporary elemental resistances. More complex recipes provide greater benefits. Food can be consumed every two seconds during combat, which makes stockpiling cheaper items like Grilled Meat an effective healing strategy for long boss fights.
Health restoration: Most foods restore some amount of health, ranging from around 40 HP for basic items like Bread up to 700+ HP for advanced cooked dishes.
Spirit restoration: Dishes like Chewy Rice Cakes are especially useful for restoring spirit, which fuels your combat abilities. This makes them valuable for encounters like the Kearush fight where spirit drains quickly.
Elemental resistances: Some advanced dishes grant fire or ice resistance for a limited duration, useful against specific bosses and enemies.
Buy Chewy Rice Cakes from Ronnie daily. They restock each in-game day and are one of the most convenient sources of spirit restoration in the early-to-mid game. Keeping three in your inventory before a boss fight is solid preparation.
The basic ingredients (Water, Sugar, Salt, Cooking Oil) at 3 copper each are the cheapest way to stock your pantry. Buy these in bulk so you always have them on hand when you find a cooking station.
Ronnie's recipes cost silver, not copper, so they are a bigger investment. Prioritize buying the Vegetable and Seafood Porridge recipe first if you have access to fish, as porridge provides strong combined health and spirit recovery.
If you find duplicate recipe scrolls while exploring, sell them at any vendor. Once you learn a recipe, the knowledge is permanent.
Raw meats from Ronnie cost the same regardless of cut quality. All raw meat produces the same Grilled Meat when cooked, so buying the cheapest options is the most efficient approach.
Embers of Return: Ronnie is among the Greymanes you reunite with at Glenbright Farm during this quest.
