Peddler's Pack is a High Quality pack in Crimson Desert. A pack carried by a peddler traveling along the road selling goods. It's surrounded by various boxes and cloth, with miscellaneous items hanging from it. Heavy but functional.

How to Farm One on Hernand Bridge

The most reliable way to obtain a Peddler's Pack is to travel to Hernand and position on the bridge where roadside merchants regularly cross. When a merchant carrying a visible backpack walks by, draw the sword near him. The merchant drops the pack out of fear, no attack required.

Do not swing at the merchant. Attacking him counts as a crime and triggers guard response. Picking up the dropped pack technically counts as theft as well, so equip the thief gloves before grabbing it to avoid the criminal flag. With the gloves on, the pick up is silent and the pack is added to the inventory without consequence.

Use in Kuku Crafting

The Peddler's Pack is a component in the Kuku backpack branch at Grimnir's workshop. It feeds into the Kuku Transmission 999K Pack recipe, the mobile vendor backpack that summons a Kuku merchant on demand. Farming one Peddler's Pack is typically enough to unlock the pack itself, so the farming trip does not need to be repeated for the core use case.

Role in the Insect Gatherer Chain

The Peddler's Pack is the mandatory second ingredient for a base Kuku Pack. A Kuku Pack then feeds the Kuku Insect Gatherer's Pack at the top of the chain. Without the Peddler's Pack, the Insect Gatherer's Pack cannot be crafted no matter how many abyssal cores and cells you hoard.

Where to Buy or Steal One

You do not have to farm multiple Peddler's Packs for Insect Gatherer progression. A single pack is enough to craft one Kuku Pack, which is the only Kuku Pack required by the Insect Gatherer recipe. If the roadside merchant steal is inconvenient, a Peddler's Pack can also be purchased directly from the specific vendor marked on the map near the merchant steal spot, which skips the theft flag entirely at the cost of a small silver fee.

• Sword-draw steal: the merchant drops the pack out of fear, no attack required. Pair with thief gloves so the pickup does not trigger a crime flag.

• Purchase option: the same vendor will sell the pack for silver if you prefer a clean transaction over the steal. Either path feeds the Kuku chain identically.
