On release the patch went live immediately on Steam for PC and Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store, with the Mac App Store build scheduled to arrive later than the other platforms.
The headline gameplay change is a rework of the Re-Blockade stronghold loop, delivering several items Pearl Abyss had previously listed only as planned direction in the Developer Roadmap: April to June 2026. The flow before and after a blockade is now split into two named stages, Battle and Reconstruct, so a contested location reads more clearly as it moves between being fought over and being rebuilt.
For major strongholds, players can now request Protection to suppress Re-Blockades, instead of only retaking a location after it has been re-occupied. The request is made through the contribution assessor in each region. The patch also renamed the contribution shop and its manager to the contribution office and the contribution assessor. Liberating a stronghold now grants contribution, provisions, trade goods, and other items, improving the reward for clearing a re-blockaded location.
Two minigames were added, each with its own item-exchange reward track. Pinball is played at the inn near the Delesyian Institute. Tokens won at the Pinball machine are spent at the new Marni Token Exchange, which trades them for a Material Box of Fortune, an Abyss Artifact, two types of Artifact Chests, a Helm, 13 types of furniture, and 3 types of gear crafting recipes.
Orb Roll is played at the Great Gate of Urdavah. Its rewards include a Material Box of Fortune, an Abyss Artifact, two types of Artifact Chests, a golden apple, 3 types of carpets, and 3 types of lights.
The patch adds a rideable Wyvern mount and a Kuku Bird Chick pet. Both a Baby Wyvern and a Kuku Bird Chick can grow after being fed, and once they reach a certain level of growth they can be registered as Special Mounts. New equipment ships alongside them: the Wyvern Saddle for the Wyvern, and two pet items, the Small Kuku Bird Eggshell and the Small Wyvern Aviator Hat.
A new growth-level UI was also added to the inventory so players can check how far along their pets and Mounts are toward the next stage.
Locked items were improved so that Abyss gear can be removed from them.
The Large Farming Scythe can now be used to obtain gatherable items.
A Carpet category was added to house decoration, and carpets were added to the items sold at some dyehouses.
A cat tower was added to Furlington Farm in the Azerian Estate.
The Sigil of Valor item description was updated; it can now be equipped on Dogs and Baby Wyverns, with the Iron Eagle and Phoenix to follow in a later patch.
A map was added to the constellation research journal so constellation locations can be found through it, and the carry postures for certain pets were changed.
A ground attack skill was added to Blackstar.
Element slot and arrow, bullet, and small-cannonball slot changes made during a boss battle are now kept after dying and retrying.
Damiane's unarmed skill damage was adjusted, and normal arrows are now used first when Replenishing Arrows run out.
On controller, the basic interaction on the Default preset no longer acts as a long press, and Axiom Force buttons can now be customized. A keyboard-and-mouse bug where secondary-key customization would not save was fixed.
Patch 1.10.00 also ships a broad fix and quality pass. Notable items include keeping a Rematch win from reverting progress, stopping some bosses from damaging themselves, preventing attack animations from cancelling when using Axiom Force or Force Palm on a mount, and correcting attack-power application on Kliff's Nature's Echo and Damiane's Reckoning. Wagons travel more smoothly through some passage areas, dialogue no longer overlaps during combat with Sir Catfish, Legendary Fish can no longer be used from quick slots, and a Mission Dispatch menu change reorganizes the category tabs from region-based to mission-based. Localization quality was improved across all supported languages.
The patch notes flag one known issue: the Phoenix and Iron Eagle cannot yet equip the Sigil of Valor, which is scheduled to be fixed in the next patch. For the running list, see the in-game Known Issues notice.
