Nature's Retribution is a Spirit Skill Tree ability exclusive to Kliff. During Nature's Snare, you can unleash your focused energy in an instant to attack enemies. The stored energy lashes out in a burst, making it a powerful counter-attack that reflects absorbed projectiles back at their source. It is particularly effective against flying enemies and bosses that rely on ranged attacks.

Upgrade Nature's Snare to Level 2 to unlock Nature's Retribution. Nature's Snare itself requires two prerequisites:
Keen Senses at Level 3
Focus at Level 2
After meeting both prerequisites, spend 1 Abyss Artifact to unlock Nature's Snare, then 1 more Abyss Artifact to upgrade it to Level 2 for Nature's Retribution. The total investment is approximately 7 Abyss Artifacts across all prerequisite skills.

The full sequence for using Nature's Retribution:
Enter Focus mode (L3+R3 on controller, X on PC)
Rotate the right stick clockwise to channel Nature's Snare, creating a wind barrier that absorbs projectiles
Once you have absorbed enough projectile energy, press R3 to release Nature's Retribution, shooting the stored energy as a focused blast
If you lock onto an enemy before releasing, the counter-blast will track the target, so you never miss your shot. The impact sends flying enemies crashing to the ground, opening them up for melee follow-ups.
Nature's Retribution is one of the best answers to flying enemies in the game. Absorb their ranged projectiles with Nature's Snare, then blast them out of the sky with the counter-attack. Grounded flying enemies are vulnerable to full melee combos.
Against bosses with heavy ranged attack patterns, this skill turns their own damage against them. The more projectiles you absorb, the stronger the counter-blast becomes.
Timing is important: activate Nature's Snare just before a barrage of projectiles arrives to maximize energy absorption. Releasing too early wastes potential damage. Holding too long drains Spirit (2 per second) unnecessarily.
Combine with Nature's Veil (Nature's Snare Lv.3) for the ultimate projectile defense: absorb projectiles, anchor the barrier with Nature's Veil, then reposition and fire Nature's Retribution from a safe angle.
