Muskets are two-handed ranged weapons that primarily scale with Precision. They deliver high per-shot damage at long range, making them the preferred weapon for long-distance engagements and boss encounters where distance management matters.

Infantry Musket is the only musket in the launch build that scales with Agility rather than Precision. Its bayonet F-attack is what drives the Agility scaling. Meanwhile, Buccaneer's Friend (often paired with hunters because of its +15% damage versus animals on the Epic tier) stays on the standard Precision track along with the rest of the musket roster. If you are after the anti-animal bonus to farm Rough Hide and boar meat efficiently.
Every firearm in Windrose, including all muskets, requires Master's Tools as a crafting ingredient. Players building ranged loadouts typically stockpile Master's Tools before committing to crafting the Rare firearm variants.
