The Medium Pailunese Banner Pike is a two-handed weapon in Crimson Desert that hails from the Pailune region. Banner pikes are a distinctive class of spear-type weapons that double as military standards, with colorful banners attached to the shaft. The Medium Pailunese variant carries a base Attack Power of 21, making it one of the stronger conventional two-handed weapons available before reaching unique or boss-drop tiers.

Banner pikes have a unique property in Crimson Desert: they can be planted into the ground and used for pole jumping, allowing Kliff to vault over obstacles and reach elevated positions. This makes the Medium Pailunese Banner Pike a practical exploration tool in addition to being a capable combat weapon. The Medium Staglord Banner Pike is the other banner pike in the game, with a higher Attack Power of 24 but no critical bonus.

How to Obtain

The Medium Pailunese Banner Pike can be found as random loot in the open world. It may appear in various locations across Pywel as world loot that players can pick up while exploring. It is also purchasable from Pailune contribution shops using contribution points earned through regional activities. Because it appears as world loot, there is some RNG involved in finding one naturally.

Pole Jumping

Like other banner pikes, the Medium Pailunese Banner Pike can be planted into the ground to perform a pole jump. This movement technique is useful for reaching rooftops, cliffsides, and other elevated areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. Several challenges in the game require pole jumping, including the Rainbow Across the Sky challenge. To pole jump, equip the banner pike, plant it by pressing the appropriate button near a ledge, and then vault upward.

With 21 Attack Power and no secondary stat bonuses, the Medium Pailunese Banner Pike is a straightforward damage dealer.
