Players can interact with these lifeforms through hunting, fishing, and the pet system. Many animals yield resources such as meat, pelts, bones, and rare crafting materials. Different regions host different species, and some creatures appear only at certain times of day.
Dogs are found throughout the settlements and wilds of Pywel. Many breeds can be tamed as pets through the trust system.
