Leg Sweep is the foundational skill in the Unarmed Combat branch of the Stamina Skill Tree, available to Kliff and Damiane. After rolling, you can sweep your enemy's legs with a powerful low kick, knocking them to the ground. Leg Sweep is available from the start and serves as the entry point into the entire Unarmed Combat progression.
The sweep is activated immediately after a dodge roll, creating a seamless offensive transition from a defensive action. Because it costs nothing to use, Leg Sweep is a reliable tool at every stage of the game for quickly grounding enemies without spending any resources.

Leg Sweep is unlocked by default for both Kliff and Damiane. It serves as the entry point to the Unarmed Combat progression, which advances through increasingly powerful techniques as you invest Abyss Artifacts.

Initiate the sweep immediately after a dodge roll for a seamless offensive transition. The timing is generous: roll and press the unarmed attack button right as the roll finishes.
Leg Sweep knocks enemies down, giving you time to follow up with ground attacks, reposition, or switch to your equipped weapon for a heavy combo.
Since it costs nothing to use, Leg Sweep is a reliable option when you want to conserve both Spirit and Stamina for other abilities.
The max unarmed attack chain extends to about 6 or 7 hits. Start with Leg Sweep after a roll, then continue into punch combos or transition to Scissor Takedown for extended control.
Unarmed combat requires sheathing your weapon first. You can quick-swap between armed and unarmed stances mid-fight to mix weapon combos with kicks and sweeps.
Leg Sweep is useful for disrupting enemies who are about to launch heavy attacks. A well-timed roll followed by a sweep can interrupt their charge-up animation.
Combine Leg Sweep with Scissor Takedown (Level 2) for a low-stance combat approach. Sweep first, then Scissor Takedown a nearby enemy while the first one is recovering.
