Footwear is a Common Body Armor item in Crimson Desert. This is a broken piece of equipment that can no longer be worn or used in combat.
This armor is completely broken and can no longer serve its original function. The damage is too extensive for any blacksmith to repair. While it cannot be equipped, it still holds some value as scrap material.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Type | |
Rarity | Common |
Equippable | No (Broken) |
Sellable | Yes |
Since this item cannot be equipped, it serves only as a source of income. Players have two options:
Sell to a vendor for silver. Any vendor will purchase broken equipment at a fixed price based on rarity.
Donate to the camp to contribute toward camp expansion. Donating equipment helps fund upgrades and recruit new comrades.
Broken equipment drops from defeated enemies throughout the world. It can be found as loot from combat encounters, in treasure chests, or as quest rewards. The rarity of broken equipment drops scales with the difficulty of the area.

Camp Expansion Guide
Footwear is one of the four core armor slots, alongside Headgear, Chest Armor, and Gloves. Like the other armor pieces, footwear comes in three armor types: Cloth, Leather, and Plate, with the type setting the defense profile and the available bonuses.
Defense from footwear is on roughly the same scale as defense from headgear and gloves. Chest armor contributes more individual Defense than any other piece, but it also costs the most resources to upgrade, while footwear, headgear, and gloves sit in a similar mid range.
Every armor piece within a given slot family shares the same number of Abyss Gear sockets, so all footwear pieces of the same type expose a consistent socket count for socketed effects.
