The Elegant Carmine Leather outfit is a blueprint craft rather than a loot-and-equip find. The blueprint itself is quick to locate once the jungle ruins are accessible, but the real time investment is in farming the hides and ores needed to forge each piece. All four parts of the set share the same material pool, so a single farming pass covers every slot.
The blueprint is stashed in the jungle ruins on the far right side of the map. Fast travel to the nearest unlock point (the puzzle-gated one nearby can be skipped), then climb and traverse the ruin perimeter until the map marker matches the pickup point. From the ledge, drop down to a gap in the wall, use Focus Force Palm on the rubble, and the blueprint sits in the cleared alcove inside.
After picking it up, open the inventory, select the blueprint, and examine the first page to register the recipe. The set can then be crafted at any smithy, including the one in Hernand.
The crafting total for the full set, as shown at the smithy, uses the following base components per piece:
Thin Hide: 10
Thick Hide: 5
Sturdy Hide: 2
Gold Ore: 2
Garnet: 2
Thin hide drops from deer calves and young deer. The most reliable spot is just outside Hernand near the A marker on the map. Calves spawn in the open field next to the fast travel point around 80 percent of the time. Kill the pack, fast travel back to the point, and the area reloads with a fresh spawn. Harvested bodies can also yield long-hair hide as a side drop.
Thick hide comes from large beasts such as rhinos and elephants. A dependable farm sits at the fast travel point just above the sea north of Hernand, near Crimson Desert. Between one and three rhinos spawn directly in front of the point. They take time to bring down, but the proximity of the fast travel marker makes resets fast. Only a handful of hides are required for the full set.
Sturdy hide drops from crocodiles and large lizards. The best route also begins near Crimson Desert, at a fast travel point with a short loop past several spawn nodes. Between three and seven lizards can spawn along the path, marked as small red blips on the mini map.
Lizard farming route:
From the fast travel point, check the rock directly ahead. A lizard spawns on the left, right, or back of it.
Continue forward to the next rock; one or two lizards often spawn here simultaneously.
Follow the bushes and trees down toward the water, then take a sharp right at the shoreline. A lizard usually waits along this bank.
Cross toward the pink bush across the water for another spawn.
Loop back toward the original rock, checking the tree line and an outside spot along the way.
Fast travel back to the marker to reset and repeat the loop.
Spawns are random, so a run might yield two lizards or closer to seven. Equipping skinning bonuses (better daggers, hide-yield gear) improves the haul per kill.
Garnet and most other gems can be farmed at the premier ore site on the far right edge of the map, which contains roughly four garnet veins along with a variety of other minerals. The node refreshes once every seven in-game days, so one well-timed visit is usually enough for the entire set.
Equipping the Mining Knuckle Drill boosts the yield. The drill is rewarded for completing the first step of House Roberts's quest line, A State in Dismay, which also hands over the Gold Vein Map.
For early-game players, Anvil Hill Cave is the most efficient gold farm. Drop into the cave, sweep the veins, and a single harvest with any pickaxe is usually enough to cover the gold ore needed for the full set. The Mining Knuckle Drill increases each node's output, so pairing the cave trip with the drill can cover multiple crafts in one seven-day cycle.
The set ships in black as its default color. Dyes unlock additional looks: the set is commonly recolored to white and red for a cleaner, more ceremonial appearance. Dyes can be crafted at a cauldron placed in a player home or used at the shared cauldron in Hernand, making it easy to retint each piece after the set is equipped.
The helm rounds out the Damian outfit. In dim lighting the default color can read closer to gray than black, but on sunny in-world days the finish is noticeably darker. Applying a dye is the most reliable way to stabilize the helm's look across weather states.
The plate helm blueprint is not in the jungle ruins. It is stashed in a locked side building at the Time Worn Ruins Iron Crawler Station, south of the Crimson Desert region label on the map. This is also the objective point for the Time Worn Ruins expedition, so clearing it alongside the blueprint pickup gives you access to Abyss Artifact drops through the dispatch rotation.
From the nearest fast travel marker, fly toward the station using aerial force palm combined with focused aerial roll for the longer horizontal stretch. On the ground near the end of the route, the station appears as a cluster of looping train tracks with a large train stop platform in the middle. Look for the side building attached to the main platform; the door is locked from the outside.
The door takes a generic Regular Key to open, the same key sold by back-alley vendors in most cities. Inside, the blueprint is on a table in the back-right corner of the single room. No guards inside the building, so once the door is open, pick it up and leave.
After registering the blueprint, craft at any blacksmith under the Plate Equipment menu. Per-piece cost:
Iron: 10
Copper: 5
Gold Ore: 3
The helm recipe is ore-only; it does not consume garnet or hide. This makes it one of the cheaper pieces in the set to craft once the Gold Ore and Copper stockpiles from the Anvil Hill Cave farm are in place.
