Overview

Dark Red Dye is a craftable collectible and the single most valuable collectible item in the game, selling for 57 Bells. Unlike most collectibles that are found through exploration or purchased from vendors, the Dark Red Dye must be crafted at a Cauldron. It is commonly handled in the Hernandian Territory, where Oliver the Dyer is known to recreate this color.

Pink Medicinal Herbs can be obtained from flowers such as Peony, Pink Rosemary, and Begonia. The beetles are gathered through the insect-collecting life skill across various regions of Pywel.

• Selling: At 57 Bells, this is the single most profitable collectible to sell. If you have access to the beetle gathering spots and herb locations, crafting and selling Dark Red Dye can be a repeatable income source.

• Decoration: Can be displayed at Greymane Camp as a decorative item.

• Gifting: Gifting the Dark Red Dye to an NPC increases their trust toward Kliff.

Tips

• Weigh the cost of gathering 10 herbs and 6 beetles against the 57-Bell return. If you are already gathering insects for other purposes, crafting Dark Red Dye is a good side income.

• Oliver the Dyer in the Hernandian Territory is associated with this item in the lore, but the crafting itself is done at any cauldron.
