Refinement

Berkei Barding can be refined to increase its stats. Each refinement level requires specific materials and silver.

Berkei Set

Berkei Barding is part of the Berkei mount gear set. Other pieces in this set include:

• Berkei Saddle (Saddle, Epic)

• Berkei Stirrups (Stirrups, Epic)

How to Obtain

Berkei Barding is a Contribution reward available at the Pailune Contribution Shop, run by the vendor Brenner. It costs 23 Contribution Points to purchase. Players must first liberate Pailune as part of the main story before the Contribution Shop becomes accessible.

Contribution Points for Pailune are earned by completing bounties, faction requests, and liberating bandit strongholds in the Pailune region. Each level of Contribution requires 100 experience points and grants 1 spendable Contribution Point.

Dyeing

Like all barding in Crimson Desert, the Berkei Barding can be customized at the Dye Station in Greymane Settlement. The dye system allows players to change the color of multiple dyeable layers on the barding, and adjust the material finish (polished metal, worn leather, matte fabric, or shiny lacquer). Dyes are purely cosmetic and do not affect stats.
