A.T.A.G. Plating Mk I is the default plating already equipped on the A.T.A.G. when it is first introduced during Chapter 10 of the main story. Players receive access to the mech during the "Hidden Ace" main quest, which involves defending Gorthak from an attack. The Mk I plating comes pre-installed on this initial A.T.A.G. unit.
The A.T.A.G. (All-Terrain Armored Gear) is a mechanical combat mount introduced in Deleysia. It is a pilotable mech armed with weapons including a machine gun, cannon, iron fists, and EMP. Three craftable variants exist: the Small Kuku A.T.A.G. (entry-level), the standard A.T.A.G. (better overall stats), and the High Mobility A.T.A.G. (the strongest variant, unlocked by cleansing the Sanctum of Exaltation). A.T.A.G. Plating protects the main body of the mech and improves its damage resistance during combat.
