Ashen Warrior is a faction quest in Crimson Desert, part of the Executioner of Justice quest series. This quest takes place in the Hernand region.

Encounter Overview

The Ashen Warrior is the boss of the Odek tribe quest Executioner of Justice, the culminating step that liberates the Odek ruins in northern Pailune. The fight is fought by Oongka and serves as the gating encounter for one of the game's two-handed unique weapons.

Red Smoke Pit Phase

Before the Ashen Warrior phase opens, three ritual pits filled with red smoke must be cleared inside the Odek ruins. Each pit requires a stab input to drain. Regular cleaves, slashes, and heavy swings will not register. Targeting each pit individually and using a single stab per pit is enough; the smoke drains visibly once the interaction fires correctly. After all three pits are drained, the Ashen Warrior spawns in the center of the ruins.

Boss Fight Notes

The Ashen Warrior wears heavily ashen-plated armor reminiscent of the Odek's Protector Plate Set and fights with committed heavy swings that reward patient parry reads. Because the fight is built around the Ashen Execution reward, the weapon's Earth Rending Strike on successful parry works cleanly against his telegraphed overheads, though the weapon is not obtained until the boss is down.

Rewards

• Ashen Execution two-handed weapon for Oongka, awarded on boss defeat.

• Odek area liberation, which unlocks the Odek tribe vendor selling regional weapons (see Odeck Wooden Club Mace, Pailune Shotgun, Pailunese Logging Axe) and other Pailune-region supplies.

• Pailunese Contribution reputation award toward the Pailunese faction track.
