Assassins are the only class using two resources simultaneously. Vigor regenerates naturally like the Ranger, while Bloodlust builds from critical hits and rapid strikes.
Bloodlust enables devastating finisher abilities. Rotating skills properly to maximize resource generation is essential for optimal damage.
The primary melee weapon. Fast strikes and combo chains for consistent close-range damage. Delivers precise hits even in chaotic battles.
The stealth weapon. Concealed blades for ambushes and surprise attacks with critical strike bonuses. Enables hit-and-run playstyle.
The ranged weapon. Long-range precision for surprise takedowns and opening attacks. Allows engagement before closing to melee range.
Assassins dive from the shadows, deal burst damage, then vanish before enemies can react. The class specializes in single-target combat and excels at eliminating priority targets.
Acrobatic abilities create distance when needed, and stealth enables repositioning between attacks.
Players expect the Assassin to dominate one-on-one duels through burst damage and stealth. The class functions similarly to Rogue archetypes in other games.
Like every class, the Assassin plugs into the Matrix System, the node-based progression layer Chrono Studio announced after the June 2025 closed beta. Each of the Assassin's three weapons (Sabre, Wrist Blades, and Musket) can evolve down one of four distinct paths, so two players on the same loadout can end up with different casting speeds, skill effects, and combat rhythm. The difference comes from the stats allocated through the Matrix, the passive skills unlocked along a path, and the attributes on equipped gear. The node layout is still under development, so treat specific path details as subject to change before launch.
