System Requirements

Chronicles: Medieval is available on PC via Steam. The following system requirements are listed on the Steam store page. The game requires a 64-bit operating system and processor on all configurations.

Multiplayer and Co-op

Chronicles: Medieval supports both single-player and online co-op play on Steam. At Early Access launch the game ships a single-player campaign plus co-op custom battles for up to four players, where friends can team up and command armies together against a hostile force. Co-op campaign play, letting players progress through the campaign together, is a stated goal for the full 1.0 release rather than the Early Access build. Dedicated servers, matchmaking, server browsers, and large-scale competitive battles are not planned at any stage.

Platform Support

Chronicles: Medieval launches on PC (Windows) via Steam. macOS and Linux are not supported. Console versions are planned to follow the PC release, with the specific console platforms and timing to be announced.

Controller Support

The game includes full controller support. Steam Cloud saving and Family Sharing are also supported.

Language Support

Chronicles: Medieval ships with interface support for sixteen languages. English is the only language with full audio. Eleven languages carry subtitles: English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian. The remaining five are interface-only, with neither subtitles nor dubbed audio: Italian, Czech, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Traditional Chinese.

Age Ratings

The game is unreleased, so its rating coverage is partial. Three ratings are carried on the store listing so far. The listing also carries a content notice from the studio describing the game as containing realistic-looking depictions of physical conflict, weapons, and human death.
