Refreshed wiki link existence flags after new game pages were published
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a single-player game with no online component. Figures below come from Konami's own product listing and the storefront listings for the game. Release details are on Release Date and Platforms.
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
Operating system | Windows 11 | Windows 11 |
Processor | Intel Core i5 8400 | Intel Core i5 10400 |
Memory | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 |
DirectX | Version 11 | Version 11 |
Storage | 10 GB available space | 10 GB available space |
The PC build is Windows only. No macOS or Linux version is listed.
The per-platform figures in this table come from Konami's own product page, which is the only published source for the Nintendo Switch sizes. Neither the PlayStation nor the Xbox listing displays an install size at all. The Windows storefront's single figure is a system-requirement floor rather than a per-edition size, and it happens to match the Midnight Edition rather than the Standard Edition, so it should not be read as the Standard download size on PC.
No preload or preinstall window has been announced. As of September 15, 2026 the word does not appear on any storefront listing in any of the four territories checked, nor on Konami's own pages.
Platform | Frame rate | Standard Edition | Midnight Edition |
|---|---|---|---|
PlayStation 5 | 60 fps | 8 GB | 10 GB |
Xbox Series X|S | 60 fps | 8 GB | 10 GB |
PC | 60 fps | 8 GB | 10 GB |
Nintendo Switch | 30 fps | 4 GB | 6 GB |
The single 10 GB storage figure in the PC requirements above is a conservative headroom number covering the largest edition, not a contradiction of the per-edition sizes. Konami publishes per-edition and per-platform figures; storefront requirement blocks publish one.
The accessibility row above is a summary. The ten published features, with their descriptions, are on Accessibility Options. No accessibility list has been published for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC or Nintendo Switch releases as of September 15, 2026.
Feature | Status |
|---|---|
Controller support | Full, with a gamepad recommended. |
Keyboard-only option | Available on PC. |
DualSense on PC | Works over USB only. |
Audio options | Custom volume controls and stereo sound. |
Family Sharing | Supported. |
Accessibility features | Ten are published and described for the PlayStation 5 release. The Windows storefront lists three without naming them. |
Steam Deck | Listed as unknown, and not verified. |
Xbox Play Anywhere | Supported on both editions. One purchase covers the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC versions. |
Resolution on Xbox | Listed as 4K Ultra HD. |
Remote Play | Supported on PlayStation 5. |
Offline play | Enabled. There is no online component. |
Type | Languages |
|---|---|
Audio | Japanese, English |
Text | English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean |
That is eleven text languages and two audio languages. Konami has published the performers for both audio tracks; they are listed on Characters.
Two of the regional entries in the table below differ depending on where you read them. Konami's own product page prints GRAC 19+ for Korea and CSRR 15+ for Taiwan, where the storefront metadata records 16 and C15. Konami's page is the publisher's own statement and is the better source for the regional boards. The Korean rating is the strictest applied to the game anywhere, and noticeably stricter than the Teen, 16 and 15 ratings used elsewhere.
Board | Rating | Descriptors |
|---|---|---|
ESRB | Teen | Violence, Blood, Mild Suggestive Themes |
PEGI | 16 | Violence |
USK | 16 | Fantasy violence |
CERO | C | Ages 15 and up |
GRAC | 19+ | Not published |
CSRR | 15+ | Not published |
DEJUS | 16 | Not published |
IGRS | 18 | Not published |
Konami has not named the engine, and nothing in the published material identifies it. Inferring one from the studio's earlier work would be a guess, so none is recorded here.
The game is classified as Action and RPG on the Steam storefront, against Konami's own genre description of 2D Action-Exploration. Community tags applied to the listing include Metroidvania, Action RPG and Action-Adventure. Tags are player-applied and are useful for finding the game rather than being a statement about its design.
The Demo has separate download-capacity figures from the full game. Its target is 60 fps on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and 30 fps on Nintendo Switch.
Platform | Demo minimum capacity |
|---|---|
PlayStation 5 | 6 GB |
Nintendo Switch | 3 GB |
Xbox Series X|S | 5 GB |
Steam | 4 GB |
The demo supports the same eleven text languages listed above. These figures apply to the demo, rather than replacing the full-game Standard and Midnight Edition sizes.
