Soundtrack

The soundtrack of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse runs to 71 tracks. The full list is published by Konami as the contents of the Digital Sound and Art Gallery, which ships with the Midnight Edition as a separate application rather than as content inside the game. The gallery also holds over 100 pieces of artwork including concept art and production sketches; see Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses.

The music has been described as gothic organs, eerie strings, synths, dance drums and electric guitar, with modernised arrangements of long-standing series themes sitting alongside new pieces.

No Composer Has Been Credited

Konami has published all 71 track titles and has not named a composer for any of them. No credit appears in any published material, and claims about who is or is not scoring the game have no source behind them. This page will carry the credit when Konami publishes it.

Structure

The list divides cleanly. Tracks 1 to 32 are the base cues. Tracks 33 to 71 are mostly Extended versions of those cues, with eight additional pieces mixed in that have no shorter counterpart: The Sealed Power, The Castle Rises, The Sacrifice, The Passing Of Power, Conquer The Darkness, The Cursed Eternal, Shadowed Victory and Final Dawn. Lord Of The Night is the exception to the pattern, with its Extended version split into two named variants, The First Dance and The Night Devourer.

Track 14 is Bloody Tears, which confirms that at least one landmark theme from earlier in the series returns here in arrangement.

Several titles read as places or events. They are suggestive rather than confirmed, and no track has been tied to a specific area, boss or story beat, so none is used as evidence on Setting and Locations.
