Platforms and Release
Tracks Blood Message's confirmed platforms (PC and consoles), the announcement timeline from project greenlight through the June 2025 reveal, the Unreal Engine 5 build, leaked pricing and release window details, and the platform-related details that remain unconfirmed.
On This Page
Blood Message is confirmed for PC and consoles, with the release date and platform-specific SKUs still officially unannounced. This page tracks what the publisher has actually confirmed, what has been reported as a leak, and what remains undisclosed. For a top-level summary of the game itself, see the Overview; for a primer on how to follow the game before launch, see Getting Started.
Confirmed Platforms
The reveal materials describe a multi-platform launch on PC and consoles. The publisher has not named specific console families in public press materials, so all platform rows below are tracked separately. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are widely expected to be the console targets given the project's current-generation Unreal Engine 5 build, but neither console SKU has been formally confirmed by the publisher.
Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
PC | Confirmed | Storefront not yet listed; no Steam App ID confirmed |
Consoles (general) | Confirmed | No specific console family named publicly |
PlayStation 5 | Expected, not confirmed | Widely reported as a target; awaiting publisher confirmation |
Xbox Series X|S | Expected, not confirmed | Widely reported as a target; awaiting publisher confirmation |
PlayStation 4 | Not announced | No backwards-generation support disclosed |
Xbox One | Not announced | No backwards-generation support disclosed |
Nintendo Switch | Not announced | No handheld or hybrid version mentioned |
iOS / Android | Not announced | Not a mobile game; the project is a buy-to-play single-player title |
Announcement Timeline
The public timeline below pairs verified events (the reveal trailer and the official announcement of PC and consoles) with leaked details that have circulated in pre-release reporting. Leaks are noted as such; they should not be treated as confirmed milestones.

Coverage Note: in early 2026, the original reveal trailer recirculated in extended/recut form across several outlets. Those reposts were aggregations of the June 2025 footage rather than a new publisher trailer event. The first genuinely new showing after the reveal came at Summer Game Fest 2026 on June 5, 2026, where the publisher shared a story-intro trailer and a 19-minute gameplay walkthrough (see the Summer Game Fest 2026 section below). That showing still named neither a release date nor specific console families, so any platform or release-date claim beyond PC and consoles should continue to be treated with caution.
Engine
The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 with a layer of proprietary in-house tools developed by 24 Entertainment Lin'an Studio. The studio has emphasised photoreal historical fidelity as a development pillar, with collaboration on geomorphological scanning, cultural relic digitisation, and ecological detail reproduction for the Hexi Corridor and Dunhuang regions. The reveal trailer mixes prerendered cinematics with in-engine gameplay, and the publisher has framed the project as its first AAA single-player title.
Pricing
No official pricing has been announced. A pre-release leak circulated in industry reporting points to a 70 US dollar launch price, in line with other current-generation single-player AAA releases. Until the publisher confirms regional pricing, the leaked figure should be treated as an estimate rather than a fixed number, and prices in other regions (euro, pound, yen, yuan) are not yet known.
Summer Game Fest 2026
After roughly a year of near-silence following the reveal, Blood Message appeared at Summer Game Fest 2026 in June 2026, its first new look one year on from the original reveal. The showing delivered an official story-intro trailer plus a 19-minute gameplay walkthrough set in the messenger's home city, the first extended look at the game in motion. Crucially for this page, the showing did NOT name a release date and did NOT name specific console families; the game remained described as coming to PC and consoles. Blood Message was also absent from the list of titles that platform holders confirmed for their own current-generation consoles at the same event, so the specific console SKUs stay unconfirmed. A closed-door hands-on demo ran for attendees during the show's Play Days, but no public demo was released.
How to Stay Informed
The most reliable sources of platform and release information for this project, in order of authority:
Official site:
hosts the reveal trailer and the project tagline, "The Last Tale of Loyalty in the Great Tang."
Publisher channels:
first-party announcements are the canonical source for platform confirmations, dates, and trailers.
Major industry events:
annual shows held mid-year and during major awards seasons are the likely venues for release-date and platform-SKU reveals.
Third-party listings and aggregator pages should be treated with caution until the publisher confirms what they describe. Storefronts have not opened wishlists yet, and any price or date appearing in a third-party listing without a matching publisher post is unverified.
Unconfirmed Details
Several details a buyer would normally check before launch are still unannounced:
Exact release date and time-zone rollout schedule.
Steam App ID and any other PC storefront identifiers.
PlayStation Store and Xbox Store listings, including pre-order tiers.
Console certification status and any platform-specific feature support.
Regional pricing variations beyond the leaked US dollar figure.
Console pre-order availability, deluxe or collector edition contents, and any pre-order bonuses.
Public demo, beta, or playtest schedule (a closed-door hands-on demo ran at Summer Game Fest 2026, but no public build has been released).
Post-launch DLC, expansion, or update roadmap.
Localised text and voice languages at launch.
This page will be updated as the publisher confirms each item.
