Created page for the Big Dipper blade with its Deluxe DLC source, damage type, and Lucky effect
Big Dipper is a blade that comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition rather than being found in the world. Official store text lists it as one of five bonus items in the package, alongside black and brown Shiba skins for Koo, the Oni's Hat for Emma, 100,000 amber, and a set of vegetable seedlings. It is also sold as part of the separate Deluxe upgrade for owners of the standard edition.
Detail | Value |
|---|---|
Type | Blade |
Damage type | Slash |
Source | Digital Deluxe Edition, or the Deluxe upgrade |
When it arrives | Added to the inventory on clearing the tutorial, at the start of Chapter 1 |
Signature effect | Lucky |
Big Dipper is not built around raw damage. Its effect increases the amber gained from defeated enemies for a short window, and the multiplier climbs as the blade is enhanced. That makes it an earning tool rather than a boss weapon: swap it in for a clearing run through a zone, then swap back for a fight that needs a damage type or an element.
Enhancement Tier | Amber Multiplier | Duration |
|---|---|---|
Lucky | 1.2x | 60 seconds |
Lucky + | 1.3x | 60 seconds |
Lucky ++ | 1.4x | 60 seconds |
Lucky +++ | 1.5x | 60 seconds |
Because Big Dipper is bonus content, it does not appear in the world for standard edition owners and there is no in-game route to it. Its damage type is Slash, which is one of the three physical types blades can carry alongside Impact and Rupture, so it does not cover an elemental weakness the way the Thunderwave Sword or Hunter's Sword do.
Weapons and Katanas cover the full blade roster, Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses lists everything the Deluxe package includes, and Amber explains the currency the Lucky effect multiplies.
