Players can collect 9 character trading cards featuring Edward Kenway, Blackbeard, Adewale, and six other allies and enemies, plus 6 badges based on the game’s logo and skull design, 5 emoticons (Synced, Treasure, Swords, Anchor, and Blackbeard), and 6 Steam profile background images. 2020 In-Game Store and Microtransactions
2121
22-Alongside its paid editions, Resynced includes optional microtransactions. An in-game store called the Exchange sells cosmetic and convenience items for a premium currency named Animus keys, and the game adds a battle-pass-style reward track and weekly challenges. These purchases are optional and separate from the edition and pre-order content listed above.
22+Resynced sells optional cosmetic add-ons alongside its editions. Four Character Packs and four matching Naval Packs are sold separately at 9.99 US dollars each, covering the Master Assassin, Hellfire, Sea Serpent, and Dragon Storm themes, and a Map Pack is sold at 4.99 US dollars. Resource Packs are also sold in game and top up the Jackdaw with Materials and Trade Goods for players who would rather not grind them.

25+The Exchange is a separate thing and is not a real-money storefront. It sits inside the Animus Hub and is stocked with cosmetics bought using Keys, a currency that cannot be purchased and is only earned by playing. Ubisoft has been explicit that nothing in the Exchange is a paid reward. Keys are tied to the Ubisoft account rather than to a single game, so a balance built up in one Animus Hub title can be spent in another.
