Shi Ye is one of six characters featured on the ANANTA official site's character section, which was rebuilt on August 25, 2026 alongside the Gamescom 2026 launch-date announcement. She joins Captain, Taffy, Richie, Yinglong, and Seymour in that lineup, and she is one of two names in it that had never appeared in earlier marketing.

Who She Is

The official description casts her as the person you go to when something needs doing. She has plenty of ideas and a large amount of technology at her disposal, and while she cannot make everything possible, the description states that many things would be impossible without her. She is identified as an old friend of the player character rather than a colleague recruited through the task force.

Her tagline sets out the division of labour plainly: "I handle the cash, you handle the fighting." That places her on the support side of the team rather than the front line, funding and equipping the group while the Captain handles the physical work.

Quotes

The gallery line is the clearest read on her voice available so far: dry, blunt, and unimpressed. It is consistent with the way the rest of the roster is written, where each character's published quote leans on comedy rather than exposition.

Position on the Roster

The six characters on the site's roster are not labelled as a playable list, and the site does not say which of them the player controls. Shi Ye's technology-and-funding role does not map cleanly onto the combat archetypes established for the characters that have been shown in gameplay, so the wiki does not assume she fights.

What Is Not Confirmed

• Whether Shi Ye is playable, and if so what her combat kit looks like.

• Whether she is an Esper or otherwise connected to Infinite Trigger status.

• Her affiliation, if any, with the A.C.D. or the Yeet Squad.

• Which city she is based in.

• Any detail of her history with the Captain beyond the word used in the official text, which is simply that they are old friends.

She was not among the characters playable in Closed Beta Test 1, which ran in January 2026 with a four-role lineup, because she had not been revealed at that point.

Name

The official site renders her English name as two words, Shi Ye, in its character navigation, and as SHI YE in the display styling on the character panel itself. Some community listings write it as a single word. This wiki uses the two-word spelling from the official navigation, with the single-word form kept as an alias.
