Lingjing is a term introduced on August 25, 2026 in ANANTA's Chongxiao material. It has not been defined anywhere in official text. What exists instead is a set of statements about how the world treats Lingjing, and those statements are consistent enough to be worth recording carefully.

Lingjing can be surveyed, so they occupy locations rather than being purely abstract.
They are institutionally managed, which means they are a known and administered category rather than an emergent crisis.
They are desirable. Trainees seek one out, and access is restricted, which points to a Lingjing conferring something worth having.
They are paired with, but distinguished from, Chaos. One agency handles both, and the official text lists them separately rather than treating them as the same thing.
Chaos is the supernatural force destabilising Nova City, and the wiki's existing coverage of Chaos Liquid and Supernatural Anomalies describes it as something to be contained. Lingjing is presented differently. Nothing in the published text frames a Lingjing as a threat: it is surveyed, it is legendary, and people travel to find one.
The most defensible reading is that Chongxiao's supervisory agency covers two related but separate categories, one hazardous and one valuable. The wiki does not go further than that, because no official material has connected the two directly.
The one concrete rule attached to Lingjing is an access restriction. Entry to the Bachong Pagoda at Weilan Lake, where a Lingjing is said to be, requires having joined a sect. That is the only membership gate confirmed anywhere in the game, and it ties Lingjing to the martial arts culture of Chongxiao rather than to the A.C.D. structure of Nova City.
